Digital Print Operator

Dean Group, in partnership with a reputable Brantford client, is seeking 4 Digital Print Operators. These positions are permanent and direct-hire, with the starting wage depending on experience.

Candidates must be flexible for day, afternoon, and night shifts.


The Digital Print Operator is accountable for:

  • Operation of Nuvera digital print equipment
  • Routine maintenance and care of Nuvera digital equipment
  • Operation of all bindery equipment
  • Routine maintenance and care of all bindery equipment
  • Maintenance of Nuvera digital print equipment
  • Xerox Freeflow DFE as it pertains to the Nuvera operation
  • Perform other duties as requested


- High school diploma

- Interest or experience in digital print an asset


  • 2-5 year working experience with the following:
  • Computer file types
  • Paper types
  • Paper weights
  • Standard paper sizes
  • Print layouts and imposition
  • Basic Microsoft Office capabilities. IE Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strict attention to detail according to customer requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 25lbs
