Warehouse Assembler

DEAN Group has 20+ current employment opportunities with one of Canada's Largest Food Distributors in Cambridge. We are seeking motivated individuals who are able to work up to 40 hours per week. This company offers shift premiums, raises, full benefits once hired full time, incentive plans, discounts, and flexible work schedules.

There is potential for permanent full time employment and once full time the rate starts at $18/hr with a top rate of $28/hr.

Job Duties:

  • Assembling orders/building pallets for shipment with the use of headset and double pallet jack
  • Go throughout the warehouse collecting boxes of product to be shipped
  • Lift boxes/products onto skid and continuously build your pallet
  • Once pallet is assembled you will shrink wrap the skid and print off labels for shipment

Job Requirements: 

  • Work is very physical (heavy lifting, standing, bending, crouching) 
  • Past paced environment with tight deadlines to meet
  • Use of powered pallet skid, no experience required but an asset (training will be provided)
  • Good hearing ability as you will be required to wear a headset and receive information through the headset
  • Excellent attention to detail required
  • Previous warehouse experience an asset

Shifts available (but not guaranteed): 
Days, afternoons and nights
Company is open 24/7 
Part-time staff MUST be able to work Saturday and Sunday. 

Pay Rate: $13.50/hour to start + incentives!
