 .NET PROGRAMMER ANALYST

 

(A reasonable commute from Milton, Burlington, Mississauga (West), Kitchener, and Guelph)

 

Our client is a Government organization which offers work-life balance, continued training, a variety of project work, a talented collaborative team to work with, and a chance to be an integral key contributor.

 

This is a permanent role that needs to be filled via a Twelve month+ contract until the hiring freeze is lifted. Reason for opening is incumbent was promoted.

 

As the .Net Programmer you will analyze complex processes, design, and deliver new solutions, and provide support to production. You will perform unit testing and integration testing. As a key member of the team you will partner with business analysts and users to create training materials. You will troubleshoot and solve technical issues.

In supporting operation requirements you will develop best practices following (SDLC). You will perform systems integration and implementation of service oriented architecture using WCF services in system development. You will provide technical documentation and use tools such as Toad or Oracle PL/SQL developer. Additional experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) or JIRA is desired.

 

The ideal candidate has full development cycle of web and Windows applications on .NET platforms (Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 or higher) using C# . Experience in continuous integration and daily code release using TeamCity or other tools is an asset.

Experience using Oracle Database 11g or later and experience in system development using Agile methodology an asset.
