Parts/Inventory Associate

Dean Group, in association with our very reputable client in Cambridge, is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Parts Personnel. This position is full time, temporary to permanent and does have great potential to get hired on permanently for the right individual!

This position starts at $19-$20/hour and you will be on a straight day shift (7:00AM – 3:30PM).

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provided strong customer service to the mechanics, as well as, vendors.
  • Ordering, manage, label and stock of all inventory
  • Locate required parts throughout in-house inventory or local vendors
  • Monitor, correct and document all part discrepancies
  • Returning defected part to vendors
  • Ship various supplies to local vendors
  • Perform routine cycle inventory counts
  • Operator forklift to move product around the shop
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail and extremely organized
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong computer and telephone skills
  • Knowledge with truck, trailer and automotive part/industry
  • Great interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • A working knowledge of inventory control processes
  • Ability to multi-task and manage various job duties
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50LBS comfortably
  • Previous forklift experience and/or certification would be beneficial
