Reporting Analyst

Dean Group is recruiting a Reporting Analyst for a reputable client located in Waterloo. This position is a 5 month contract and pay rate will be $30/hr. 

The Reporting Analyst position requires the ability to provide analysis and reporting to both the Customer Service management team and the Senior Open Text management team.This position will be focused on reporting and analysis of our clients renewals business.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Weekly forecasting & analysis of revenue
  • Reviewing trends and providing recommendations
  • Creation and analysis of key performance indicators to assist with driving improved results
  • Assist in the delivery of regular reporting packages created by the reporting team

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Finance background (CPA preferred but not required)
  • Forecasting & experience working with recurring revenue considered an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Expert level knowledge and experience with MS Office programs, MS Excel
  • Self-starter with the ability to work cross-functionally, as well as independently
  • Organized individual with an ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast paced and changing environment, with minimal supervision
  • Excellent writing, communications, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Highly motivated, participative team player that can work in a matrix environment
  • Ability to recommend solutions for possible improvements
  • Experience working with systems such as Assure, OLAP cubes, BI systems
  • Previous experience in a global software enterprise with a foundational understanding of business processes
  • Experience with SQL programing, VBA and report automation tools is an asset.
