The Company and The Role
A well-established manufacturer and distributor of medical devices is seeking an Accounting Team Leader to oversee their accounting and finance function. You will function as the most senior person in accounting to support both the Operations Manager and CEO in managing all finance-related activities of the company. Your responsibilities will include all aspects of GL maintenance, month-end / year-end close, financial statement preparation, and assistance with budgets and forecasts. You will also handle payroll for 15 employees including commissions for the sales team. As part of a small but growing company, you will work in a highly entrepreneurial, unstructured and fast-paced environment.
What makes you a fit:
- 3-5+ years experience performing full cycle accounting and financial reporting and analysis for a small or midsized owner-managed business.
- Experience in developing and streamlining accounting processes to achieve better efficiencies
- Proficient in QuickBooks Enterprise and demonstrates the ability to learn new systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage conflicting priorities
