Dean Group's manufacturing division is recruiting for General Labourers (Crating/De-crating).

Role: Crating/Decrating - General Labour

Contract Length: Ongoing/open ended (no end date)

Location: Cambridge, ON

Wage: $18.00/hour

Shifts: Days; Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

What You'll Do:

• Prepare machines for shipment according to specific program instructions (Crating).
• Use hand tools (like pry bars) to open wooden crates and dispose of scrap wood in large bins.
• Support Wet Cycle testing on machines when needed:
• Load machines and retrieve packaged products.
• Open and feed product back for testing in a continuous loop.
• Maintain a steady test feed rate to ensure a successful cycle.
• Monitor packaging quality throughout the process.
• Dispose of used packaging materials appropriately.

What We're Looking For:

• Team player willing to help where needed.
• Comfortable using hand tools and performing physical tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and pay attention to detail.
• Physically capable of handling product and packaging during testing cycles (approx. 2.5 hours per test).
• Valid Lift Truck License is an asset but not required.
