Position Title: Graphic Designer

Location: Cambridge, ON

Position Type: Full-Time Contract

Salary: Up to $25 per hour

The Company and The Role:

Our client is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of innovative heating appliances. We are looking for a Graphic Designer on a 3-month contract to join our client’s friendly and creative team to help assist with traditional and digital marketing communications.

 

As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating compelling designs that communicate our brand across a variety of digital and print platforms. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop engaging communications that showcase our products and services in a creative way.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce high-quality visual content for both digital and print mediums, including brochures, product catalogs, social media graphics, website banners, and other related communications.
  • Collaborate with Marketing team to create materials that effectively communicate the features and benefits of our products.
  • Develop graphics for internal and external communications
  • Participate in marketing planning meetings
  • Provide creative direction and branding to internal and external clients/providers

 

What Makes You A Fit:

  • Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) or other design tools
  • 2D or 3D modeling, UI/UX is an asset
  • Solid understanding of web design (experience with web design tools)
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Experience in packaging design and product photography.
  • Motion graphics or video editing skills
