Position: Payroll Specialist
Type: Full-time, Onsite (5 days per week)
Location: Cambridge, ON
Salary: Up to $75,000

The Company and The Role:
Our client, a leader in the consumer goods sector located in Cambridge, ON, is seeking a skilled and proactive Payroll Specialist. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining efficiency, compliance, and employee satisfaction within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the bi-weekly payroll process for both hourly and salaried employees.
- Manage and reconcile payroll source deductions, including WSIB, CPP, EI, Income Tax, LTD, and EHT.
- Prepare ROEs for terminated employees
- Administer employee benefit programs, including enrollment, adjustments, and terminations.
- Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with the HR Director on various employee relations matters.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of employee files and HRIS data.
What Makes You A Fit:
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation, or equivalent experience and education required.
- CHRP designation or working towards it is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- Experience with benefits administration.
- Strong knowledge of applicable legislation (ESA, Human Rights, WSIB).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
