Welder/Fabricator – Day Shift | Waterloo, ON
About the Role
We’re partnering with a well-respected manufacturing company in Waterloo that takes pride in its team and the quality of their work. If you’re a skilled Welder/Fabricator looking for a steady, day shift role where you can make a real impact, this could be the perfect fit for you!
Responsibilities
- Repair and improve damaged tooling, guards, and mechanical parts
- Assist with welding and mechanical breakdowns
- Fabricate safety and efficiency components
- Diagnose machine issues
- Read and interpret blueprints and instructions
- Operate welding and cutting equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick, plasma)
- Perform routine maintenance
- Keep the workspace safe and organized
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- College diploma in Millwrighting, Welding Techniques, or equivalent
- Skilled in multiple welding methods and able to read blueprints
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Own tools required; CWB certification preferred
- 3-4 years of welding/fabrication experience
