Polisher/General Labourers (Nights)

Dean Group's Manufacturing division is now searching for Polisher/General Labourers.

*NO STUDENTS*

Role: Polisher/General Labourer
Location: Kitchener, ON 

Contract length: Contract – Permanent, potential for hire for the right individuals.
Wage: $19.65/hour
Hours: Nights, Monday to Thursday, 5:00pm - 3:00am (10 hour shift) - MUST have your own means of transportation

*MUST be reliable, and have the willingness/want to work*

*Must be comfortable wearing a respirator for the entire shift*

Polisher/General Labourer job responsibilities:

• Remove all possible defects with use of an electric or air buffer/grinder, hand jack, oscillator, stroke sander, robot cell or rotary.
• Inspect all parts for defects before and after polishing.
• Remove old tags on incoming skids.
• Identify parts that have been polished according to department requirements.
• Visual inspection Robot cell prior to start-up
• Loads parts into fixtures/drawers.
• Operator required polishing machine.
• Other duties as assigned. 

What you will need to be a successful Polisher/General Labourer: 

• Must be comfortable in a physically demanding environment
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 20-50 lbs.
• Comfortable is a warmer environment, especially in the summer months
• Comfortable working in a dustier environment
• Basic computer skills.
• Must work effectively in a team environment.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Comfortable with repetitive work
• Hardworking and extremely reliable
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work in an industrial setting
• Available to start ASAP
