Skilled Machine Operator/Mill Support (Rotating)

Dean Group's Manufacturing division is now searching for Mill Operator Supporters. 

**Please note, you MUST be done with your studies **

Role: Mill Operator Support
Location: Waterloo, ON
Industry: Manufacturing – Stainless Steel Tubing

Contract length: Contract - Permanent
Wage: $22.00/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, day/afternoon rotation (weekly)

• Once you've successfully passed the 3 months pre-probationary our client will offer a 9 month contract 
• Health & dental benefits after 3 months
• Increases every 3 months
• Full-time employment after (9 month) contract is complete

Machine Operator job duties and responsibilities:

• Operating a variety of different machines
• Oversee setting up and loading the parts in the machines
• Checking the product for any defects. 
• Other duties as assigned

What you need to be a successful Machine Operator:

• Experience with calibers, micrometers, overhead crane and machine set up in an asset.
• 3-5 years’ experience as a machine operator
• Machine set up experience
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs comfortably
• Ability to run multiple machines at once
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to working in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail
